Society Planner Spotlight: Renea Cupples

Happy #WeddingWednesday, Planner Friends! It’s that time of week again! Today on The Bridal Society’s blog we have another amazing CWP to share with you. This week’s Society Planner Spotlight features Renea Cupples of Creative Expressions by Renea.

Meet Renea

Renea

When asked to tell us a little bit about herself and her business, Renea told us, “Early in my life I found my love and passion for weddings. At the age of 16, I started working for a florist and caterer. I began studying all things wedding and etiquette related. Now, for more than 28 years it has been my privilege to guide brides and their families on the path to their wedding day. This is something the Lord has laid on my heart and given me a great passion for, and what a passion it has been! My mission is to exceed the brides expectations on the happiest and most memorable day of their lives. My Mission Statement is Your Vision, Your Style, Your Day.”

Get to Know Renea

What inspired you to become a wedding planner?

Early in my life, I found a huge love and passion for weddings. There’s something about beginning a project and seeing it through to the end. The creative process, designing floral arrangements, and the bouquets are some of my favorite parts of it all.

What do you love most about being a wedding planner?

The excitement of new love. I enjoy hearing every couple’s love story because each and every one is so different!

How has your certification and membership with The Bridal Society helped you and your career?

I have been a Event Coordinator for many years. Being a part of The Bride Society has given me the passion and desire again to grow my business more than ever before. Not to mention, the friendships and support that I have gotten through this family has been amazing!!!

What does your average week look like?

Each week I am in contact with brides, vendors, venues. I also spend time working on my timelines and building portfolios for each event. In addition to running my own business, making time for my family is also very important to me.

What is one item you can’t live without on a wedding day?

Timeline Genius is one tool I can’t live without anymore!!!

*TBS Planners, see more information regarding our partnership with Timeline Genius (and perks for you!) on our members only website.

What type of client do you attract?

I tend to attract a wide variety of clients – from a limited budget to an unlimited budget. But no matter what the budget is, it’s my mission that each client will feel special and I will bring their unique style together on the most important day of their lives.

What is your favorite moment on wedding day?

At the end of the evening when everything has came together and bride, groom and family is happy with everything!

Final Thoughts

What advice can you give and/or have you received that you can pass on to new/existing planners?

Set boundaries…. Remember to always have family time. Sunday is that day for me. It’s God’s day, family day and nap day!!!

What advice do you have for engaged couples?

Your spouse should be your best friend!!!
